Arctic Monkeys, a famous English rock band, declared its second show in Madrid WiZink Center on July 11, 2023. The Arctic Monkey band is opting for their 2023s international shows. The group comprises Alex Turner (lead Vocalist), Nick O’Malley ( bass guitar player and background vocalist), Jamie Cook (guitar and keyboard player), and Matt Helder (drummer and back vocalist). Andy Nicholson, a former band member, left the band in 2006.

Arctic Monkeys’ Famous Albums
The first ever band to gain widespread recognition over the Internet was Arctic Monkeys, and pundits hailed them as a possible shift in how new bands are marketed and promoted. Their debut album, 2006s “What People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not,” went platinum quickly and is one of the best debut albums in history.

With the success of their critically praised fifth album AM (2013), aided by the worldwide smash “Do I Wanna Know?” the band achieved further international renown. It received a platinum certification in the US and topped four Billboard charts. It became the third album to win album became their third to win the ‘British Album of the Year at the 2014s BRIT Awards.
The band’s sixth album, 2018s “Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino,” marked a significant change from their previous guitar-heavy work by favoring piano. It was nominated for ‘Best Alternative Music Album’ in Grammy Award, becoming their second album to receive this honor after the 2006s “Whatever People Say I’m, That’s What I’m Not.”

The group’s first five albums helped their debut at number one in the UK, making them the first independent-label group to do so. The group has also received a Mercury Prize for their 2006s album, “Whatever People Say I’m, That’s What I’m Not,” an Ivor Novello Award, 20 NME Awards, and seven Brit Awards, including three times as Best British Group and three times as British Album of the Year.
They are the first band to ever “do the double.” They’ve also been nominated for six Grammy Awards, and in 2007, 2013, and 2018 they were nominated for the Mercury Prize. “Whatever People Say I’m, That’s What I’m Not,” and AM is listed in NME’s and various Rolling Stone 500 Greatest compilations.
