Whether it was the season-high 46 points for DeRozan, the 22 free throw endeavors, or the five assists, he was never going to budge on driving the Bulls (5-5) to a third-consecutive success. If, by some stroke of good luck, his teammates were really obliging in the 123-119 defeat.

DeMar scored season-high 46 points with five assists and two steals for Chicago when other players like Nik Vucevik had 24 points along with 12 rebounds, and Zach LaVine added 16 points.
Jayson Tatum had 36 points, including 12 rebounds, to lead the Boston Celtics, holding on for a 123-119 triumph over the Chicago Bulls on Friday night.
In the fourth quarter, the Boston Celtics took a 97-83 lead, and just after seven minutes of play, they expanded it to 105-91.
A 3-pointer by Vucevic covered a 12-4 run to assist the Bulls with slicing their shortage to 109-103.
Chicago remained nearby one more 3 by Vucevic managed it to 114-110, trailed by a miss by Boston’s Al Horford.
Derrick White fouled DeRozan. He hit a couple of free throws. White answered on Boston’s next belonging, drilling a three from the wing with 1:06 leftover.
Vucevic was great again from 3 on Chicago’s next outing to make it 117-115. Horford missed a corner 3. However, Tatum pulled down the bounce back and was fouled by LaVine.
Tatum made only one free throw, giving the ball back to Chicago. Tatum got a take. However, his outlet pass was taken out by LaVine.
Jayson Tatum battled Patrick Williams for a bounce back and procured an excursion to the free throw line. Afterward, Williams took a superfluous three-pointer with 22.9 seconds left and missed; Tatum went to the free toss line again, hitting both to extend the lead back out to five with 19.5 seconds left.
The free toss challenge went on for the two groups, with DeRozan hitting on free throws 19 and 20 and Malcolm Brogdon giving back for Boston (5-3).
The Boston Celtics lead 63-57 at the half, outscoring the Bulls 37-26 in the subsequent quarter. Ultimately the Celtics beat the Chicago Bulls 123-119 at the end of the match.
