Little Simz Releases New Album, “NO THANK YOU”: Stream first appeared on Consequence.

Little Simz, a.k.a. Simbi Ajikawo, and producer Inflo oversaw her most recent album, 2021’s Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, and the successful London indie-R&B collective SAULT rejoins on NO THANK YOU. Little Simz announced the 10-song tracklist along with the album’s cover art just hours before the album’s release. The image shows the British-Nigerian rapper in a candid profile.

The fifth-placed album on Consequence’s Top 50 Albums of 2021 list was Sometimes I Might Be Introvert.

Little Simz, whose most recent album “Sometimes I Might Be Introvert” has already won the Mercury Prize and MOBO Awards, has now revealed her plans for a next studio album.

The rapper revealed the new full-length, “NO THANK YOU,” in an Instagram post but provided no other information. Some people have suggested at the same time that the new record be released as soon as next week.

More About Little Smiz

Little Simz is the stage name of Simbiatu “Simbi” Abisola Abiola Ajikawo, a British rapper, singer, and actor. Her first three albums, 2015’s A Curious Tale of Trials + Persons,  2016s Stillness in Wonderland, and  2019s Grey Area, all released independently, helped her gain notoriety.

Little Smiz’s 2019s album, ‘Grey Area, was nominated for the Mercury Prize and won the Best Album Award at the NME Awards and the Ivor Novello Awards. Sometimes I Might Be Introvert, her fourth album, was widely praised by critics and was named the most excellent album of 2021 by various magazines. Later, it received the  Mercury Prize in 2022. She also received the Libera Award and Brit Award 2022 for Best New Artist.
