MIRAE, a South Korean boy band formed under DSP Media in 2021, has released a music video to their special single, ‘Snow Price.’
The group members are Lien, Park Si-young, Lee Jun-hyuk, Khael, Son Dong-Pyo, Yoo Dou-Hyun, and Jang Yu-bin. On March 17, 2021, they made their public debut with the release of Killa, their first extended play (EP).
The seven-person trio debuted their holiday song “Snow Prince” on December 20 across digital streaming services, accompanied by a music video. The song is a replica of the identically named 2005 single by DSP Media senior boyband SS501.
In the brand-new video, the Korean boyband assembles in a café to enjoy Christmas while decked out in cozy sweaters and fluffy hats. The boyband laughs and exchanges gifts before dancing to the cheery holiday song.
In the chorus, they sing, “Show me your eyes/I like you so much, I’ll love you forever/And I’ll give you my love/Listen to my song for you / Come to my heart.”
The group’s lead vocalist Lien was diagnosed with vocal nodules, and DSP Media announced the day before the release of “Snow Prince” that he would not be promoting the new tune with MIRAE for the time being due to his condition. In two weeks, the singer is predicted to make a comeback.
According to Soompi, the statement read: “After an extensive conversation with the agency, [Lien] decided to take therapy following the conclusion of [MIRAE’s] Japanese promotions. After a treatment period of roughly two weeks, he will rest with his family and return with a healthy image. “Please give Lien a lot of support so he can get better and come back,”
MIRAE’s third domestic release of 2022, following the releases of their mini-albums “Marvelous” and “Ourturn” in January and September, respectively, is “Snow Prince.” With the release of their mini-album “Killa” in March 2021, the boyband consists of the following members: Lee Jun-hyuk, Lien, Yoo Do-Hyun, Khael, Son Dong-Pyo, Park Si-Is-young, and Yu-bin, made their debut.
