Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse, one of the most eagerly awaited animated films, will release a new trailer on December 13, Tuesday.
Fans were already given a brief teaser trailer outlining what to anticipate from the film back in 2021. October 7, 2022, was the slated date for the film’s release when this teaser trailer was launched. After that, the film was divided into two parts, with the release date changing to June 2, 2023. As mentioned in earlier coverage, the second installment will debut on March 29, 2024.
For a while now, moviegoers have been clamoring for more information. Now, the producers have just revealed that on December 13, 2022, a new trailer for the future film will be released (IST). We now know the anticipated release date for the trailer thanks to DiscussingFilm, one of the well-known sources for movie-related news. The trailer will debut on December 13, 2022, at 9:00 AM PT, according to their tweet (10:30 PM IST). They also offered a fresh appearance for Spider-Gwen from the next film.
The director revealed The Spider-Man Across The Spider-Verse film’s villain
Gwen revisited Miles in his universe in the previous trailer. Both were seen leaving Miles’ house as well. The action then switches to Miles facing off against a brand-new interdimensional foe named “Spot” in various dangerous settings. The following trailer will reveal more about this new antagonist, or the upcoming two-part film will reveal more about Miles’ trip.
The Spot’s story doesn’t end with the 2023 movie, according to Kemp Powers, the director of Spider-Man Across the Spider-Verse, who said he would be “the villain of the next two films” in an interview with Total Film via Games Radar.
It has long been known that The Spot, played by Jason Schwartzman, will serve as the antagonist in Across the Spider-Verse.
However, his function in the 2024 threequel was not yet clear.
In the comics, Dr. Jonathon Ohnn, an MIT scientist who works for Kingpin and acquires his powers from a botched experiment, is The Spot.
